Sales Development Manager
Ecolab is seeking a Sales Development Manager who will be responsible for finding new profitable business for the Division through the search for new markets and applications within the Retail market. They will seek to protect and increase the sales of existing assigned accounts and introduce new products, programs, and services. In addition to developing and implementing strategies for new product launches, contract negotiations, and price adjustments.
Activities :
- Expand market share and increase sales in Central America and the Caribbean for the Food Retail segment, gaining new accounts by identifying potential accounts.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies and business plans for Food Retail customers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to identify and execute growth opportunities.
- Manage client relationships, analyze market trends, and lead contract negotiations.
- Maintain price records and follow up with each client.
- Generate forecasts of products and equipment for each assigned existing and new client.
- Responsible for creating and following up on project pipelines in Sales Force.
- Learn from the business of potential clients, as well as their needs and challenges, so that areas of opportunity can be identified to insert added value into Ecolab's products and services.
- Identify new and emerging customer needs so that novel solutions can be offered to increase the offer of products and services.
- Communicate emerging customer needs so that novel solutions can be developed.
- Ensure and maintain current accounts by always delivering products and services in compliance with time, quality, and safety standards.
- Constantly monitor and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promote and strengthen internal and external working networks to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop effective communication with the field team to thoroughly convey customer needs.
- Function as a conduit of information between the industry and the market, so that it can provide insights to help the field team understand the customer's business and offer better service.
- Establish, communicate, and ensure clear goals, plans, and timelines for the delivery of products and services.
- Apply knowledge and analysis tools to factors affecting profit.
- Implement action plans that increase and ensure profit.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering areas. E.g., Chemical Engineering in processes, in Food or related. Industrial Engineer5 years of experience in the chemical industry, specifically in raw materials or specialized chemicals for the disinfection and sanitation sectorExperience in execution and knowledge of food auditsProven experience in business development, sales, and marketingNegotiation skills and management of key client relationshipsCustomer-focused approach with effective communication skillsAt least basic knowledge of finance conceptsKnowledge in SalesForceAdvanced English (B2-C2)Valid American visa and approved migration status for travel within Central America and Puerto RicoValid driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
