Work Schedule :

This position is .4 FTE physician leadership responsibility plus clinical practice time in anesthesia. Hours will be scheduled Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.

We are seeking a Medical Director, Perioperative Services -Anesthesia to :

  • Lead anesthesia into the future to enhance remarkable care for patients in perioperative services.
  • Support the team with a medically directed care model that fosters a collaborative environment while ensuring high quality care to patients.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop a best-practice and patient-centered model.
  • Oversee business planning and operational activities.
  • Along with relevant stakeholders, identify and review marketing trends, clinical best practices, and develop future plans for initiatives for UW Health.

    • Education :

  • M.D. or D.O Required
  • MMM / MHA / MBA or equivalent Preferred

    • Work Experience :

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing physician. Experience leading staff and oversight of multiple clinical functions. Required
  • Administrative experience running a perioperative program in a large academic medical center or large private hospital setting. Demonstrated experience in Operating Room management. Preferred

    • Certifications :

  • Board certified with active medical license Required
