[job_card.job_description]Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant Experience with computers and able to use the below programs : Outlook : creation of emails, responses, uploading of emails and attachments, filing emails into folders, organizing and labeling emails Word : creation of documents / letters, using templates for documents, typing on letter head, converting into Adobe documents, uploading documents onto the computer Excell : general set up for a spreadsheet and basic calculations, uploading documents Adobe : uploading documents, editing of documents, converting to word to be edited, rotating documents, and organizing pages. File Explorer : Organizing files, uploading documents, creating folders
Receptionist needed for an established office in Wyoming, MI.
The receptionist position is part of the front office team for an architectural and engineering firm and will need to assist in answering phones and greeting on-site visitors. The receptionist should enjoy working in a multifaceted, customer service focused environment.
9am – 5pm, M – F, 35 hrs a week
$18 per hour
The Receptionist requires the following, in addition to other projects as requested by the Project Manager.
- Answer phone and email.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Greet clients, sales reps., contractors, etc. entering the office.
- Organize and maintain project files.
- General office work : typing; prepare forms other business-related documents; printing, copying, and scanning; mailing and shipping.
- Printing and Binding documents into spiral booklets
- Maintain calendar and schedules.
- Online research and maintaining pass codes to access reference materials
- Attention to details.
- Some courier services.
- Responding to email correspondence from lead architect, acting as administrative assistant when needed
