Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols CRE

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM

DayTime Sun 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to management and / or law enforcement as needed.
  • Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with inquiries or directions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site representatives to help to maintain a secure environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
