Salary : $135 - $150 for a full 8 hr. school day

Location : GREEN Midlands (Irmo, SC)

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
• Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom, and follow classroom and school procedures as directed by the school
• Communicate in a friendly and positive manner towards staff / administrators, students, parents, etc.
• Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
• Ensure the safety / confidentiality of students at all times
• Keep records on attendance, accident / incidents
• Leaves notes for the regular teacher at the end of the teaching day went
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
• Implement and teach lesson plans and instructions as directed by the absent teacher, or consult with principal or other responsible staff if lesson plan is not provided
