Applications Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Applications Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of solution architects and engineers focused on delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable solutions. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, people management skills, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure seamless integration of our technologies into client systems and workflows.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of applications engineers, fostering growth in both technical and soft skills.

Establish clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and promote a culture of excellence and accountability.

Manage application engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and technical quality.

Oversee solution design, prototyping, validation, and customer deployment in coordination with product and engineering teams.

Ensure best practices in pre-sales support, RFQ / RFP support, product demonstrations, product training (internal and external), 2nd tier product technical support, product requirements development and reviews, trade show support, and conference / webinar presentations.

Partner with product management, sales, support, and core engineering to define application requirements and customer needs.

Lead the proposal preparation and contribute to the financial estimate together with Sales and R&D.

Serve as a technical liaison with customers and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into functional solutions.

Provide insights and feedback to influence product roadmap and feature development.

Work directly with clients to understand their environment and recommend integration strategies.

Support pre-sales activities, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and post-deployment technical troubleshooting as needed.

Advocate for the voice of the customer within engineering and product roadmap discussions.

Seen as a respected technical expert for assigned Business line and is expected to work closely with current and prospective customers.
