Portfolio Mgr Research

The Office of Community Health, Engagement, and Resiliency (ASU OCHER), based in Tucson, Arizona, in the School of Social Work at Arizona State University invites applications for a Research Portfolio Manager. ASU OCHER specializes in participatory action research, including prevention, implementation, and translational science to promote health and resilience through culturally-centric, community-driven interventions.

The Research Portfolio Manager will provide day-to-day management and oversight in support of all research and evaluation activities of ASU OCHER. This position will be responsible for driving strategic-level engagements with research-sponsoring organizations and will work closely with unit leadership to increase the office’s research portfolio. This position will be responsible for developing strong relationships and regular channels of communication at the appropriate level with target sponsoring organizations. We seek a candidate who is committed to health equity, racial equity and social justice with strong experience in program management and knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies, applied research, and large-scale studies.
