Insurance Coverage Attorney

About the Opportunity :

Our client, a respected and growing law firm, is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong analytical skills and experience in handling coverage matters to work alongside seasoned litigators in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Responsibilities :

Analyze and interpret insurance policies to evaluate coverage issues.

Draft coverage opinions, position letters, and reservations of rights.

Represent insurers in coverage disputes, including declaratory judgment actions and bad faith litigation.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings.

Participate in all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trials when needed.

Communicate with clients and provide strategic guidance regarding coverage disputes.

Qualifications :

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Bar admission in Sout Carolina

3+ years of experience in insurance coverage and / or insurance defense litigation.

Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with team members.
