Residential Service / Install Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated electrician to join our growing electrical department. This role focuses on residential service upgrades, diagnostics, and generator installations, with occasional light commercial work. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting for residential systems.
• Install and upgrade electrical panels, wiring, and circuits according to code.
• Install and maintain backup generators and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes during all installations.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with clients.
• Provide recommendations for energy efficiency and system improvements.

Work Environment :

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, with the possibility of weekend work. The role includes being on an on-call schedule, which is still being finalized. Work takes place in and around residential homes throughout the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs.

This is a permanent position based out of Bridgeview, IL.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $65000.00 / yr. Direct hire into the company health benefits company vehicle opportunities to make commissions 401k PTO.

Workplace Type :

This is a fully onsite position in Bridgeview, IL.
