Security Officer - Flex Access Control Desk

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related incidents. You will help to deter unwanted activity while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Pay Rate : $17.98 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Fri 06 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies in a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents and / or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary.
  • Monitor access control systems and verify the credentials of visitors, tenants, and contractors entering the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide assistance.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and / or disruptive behavior through diligent observation and reporting.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
