Electronic Warfare Electronic Warfare (EW) involves using signals such as radio, infrared, or radar to sense, protect, and disrupt adversaries’ abilities. As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to the development of EW systems that are critical for national security and defence.
Your Role
As a Systems Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements definition to system integration and verification. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements. Additionally, you will manage the scope of software releases, balancing stakeholder needs with technical constraints.
Your role will include developing and maintaining system architectures and designs, as well as supporting the creation of system documentation. You will also participate in risk management activities, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
Furthermore, you will prepare documentation for design reviews, conduct reviews with customers, and create operational and administrative manuals. Ensuring requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle and managing configurations will also be part of your responsibilities.
