Schedule Details / Additional Information :

Nights, with 8 and 12-hour shifts;

Every third weekend rotation; Holiday rotation

Incentives :

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , caring for a diverse and complex patient population, including :

Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Pediatric and adult hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients supporting our Comprehensive Stroke Program

A high volume of spinal surgery patients and medical overflow cases

Become part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) for exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and advanced care.

Deliver and coordinate comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practices.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification Requirements :

Registered Nurse license issued in your practicing state

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Education Required :

Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.

Experience Required :

At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Proficient computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, bend, and reach frequently.

Lifting capability of up to 50 lbs from floor to waist; 20 lbs overhead; carrying up to 40 lbs over distances.

Capable of pushing or pulling with 30 lbs of force; sliding transfers of 150 lbs with assistance.

May be exposed to chemicals, blood, body fluids, and infections, necessitating protective clothing.

Ability to operate necessary equipment to perform job functions.
