This is a fully onsite position that performs the job of a systems analyst and a computer programmer. We are looking for a programmer analyst to automate current systems through reports development and creating toolsets for office staff. We are ultimately looking to develop a digital dashboard to monitor / manage our business. Majority of work will be working with business units to improve / automate internal business processes and then interfacing with Power BI, SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, VBA, Microsoft Access and Microsoft SharePoint and power apps to support automation and monitoring of business processes. Process documentation – both current and future states – and the ability to communicate with and train business units on needed changes will be required along the way.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Meets with business personnel to determine current company processes, identify gaps / needs / automation opportunities, and then designs a system to meet those gaps / needs / opportunities. For each process, identifies any inputs needed, process changes needed to supply those inputs, and metrics needed to monitor the process. May also prepare cost analyses to assist management in determining the financial feasibility of a system as well as work with project managers to ensure that time lines are met. Will need to document process changes and effectively train individuals on those process changes.
