Industry & Market Research : Track pipeline utilization, tariff structures, and contract profiles to assess revenue stability. Reporting & Recommendations : Recommend credit limits, pricing, and risk mitigation strategies. Portfolio Monitoring : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CFA or MBA preferred. 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, investment banking, or energy finance. Strong understanding of midstream energy operations, contracts (e.g., take-or-pay), and regulatory frameworks. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex analyses clearly.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Analyst, focusing on the midstream energy sector. T This role requires strong financial modeling skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to provide actionable insights to support investment and lending decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Credit Analysis & Risk Assessment :
Perform in-depth credit reviews of midstream energy companies, including financial statement analysis, covenant compliance, and liquidity assessments.
Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast cash flows, leverage ratios, and debt service capacity.
Monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and commodity markets impacting midstream energy.
Prepare credit memos and present findings to senior management and investment committees.
Continuously monitor existing exposures
