Overview :

Package Sorters work on the divert lane, must have an eye for detail and be able to spot errors made by pickers before the product is sent out to customer. Position is responsible for order fulfillment, inventory processing, movement and control : accurate product identification; preparation for shipping and some receiving duties.

  • Pull totes off of conveyor, once sorted by automated system and pack into bin.
  • Ensure item and quantity are correct by cross checking RF Scanner.
  • Pack any incorrectly sorted totes into correct bin.
  • Must have good spatial awareness and ability to pack in a neat and safe manner.
  • Load packed bins onto ride on pallet jack and deliver to correct shipping lane within warehouse.
  • Positions requires almost constant standing and / or walking.
  • Must be willing to cross train on various positions within warehouse.
  • Able to operate warehouse equipment including Cherry / Order Picker, Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack.
  • Assist warehouse staff in maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends.
  • Heavy lifting is required for this position.
  • Must be capable of squatting, bending and reaching.
  • This is a safety sensitive position.
