Document Specialist

Hiring for an entry level Document Specialist! No experience is required!

Start Date : ASAP

This Document Specialist will be doing the following :

1. Reviewing title documents (10-15 pages) for accuracy in recording title information.

2. Navigate within the computer system to research state and county requirements.

3. Enter mortgage information into system to record title. First day at 8 : 30am, after that 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm M-F.

They will also do the following :

• \tProofread and audit recordable documents to be sent to county recorder
• \tPerform handling and processes for any mortgage related documents; assignments, Deed of Trust, Warranty / Quit Claim Deeds, releases, affidavits, etc.
• \tProcess recording fees by understanding related mortgage documents
• \tProcess mortgage documents to include rejections and resubmissions
• \tProof incoming documents, and anticipate any issues regarding implementation of process changes (i.e., hardcopy or electronic)
• \tAssist the eRecording team with daily operations (binning, printing, stapling, etc.).
• \tOccasionally assist the eRecord and offshore teams by processing Level I and II Electronic Recording / E-Filing.
• \tWork closely with the Recording team to pull urgent document requests as needed and assigned.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
