What we are looking for:

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate team located in Houston. This is a great opportunity to work for an exciting company in a fast-paced environment.

Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:

• Enter pay data into the ADP database and into Excel spreadsheets for import
• Process monthly commission and bonus payments
• Update employee personnel and employment information in ADP which could include pay increases and other pertinent information
• Create innovative ideas to help streamline payroll processes
• Support HR Generalists, Managers, and Director with ad hoc requests and projects
• Input wage garnishments in ADP for processing
• Resolve any payroll discrepancies
• Respond to employee pay inquiries
• Work closely with the accounting departments across all dealerships
• Maintain confidential employee information
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Data Entry Skills
• Microsoft Office Software Applications (Excel, Word, etc.)

The opportunity is for you if you have:

• 2-3 years of experience using ADP workforce required
• Experience with a multistate payroll is a plus
• An Associates Degree in Accounting and/or an equal amount of experience is strongly preferred
• Positive attitude
• Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check
• Ability to communicate both verbally and with written documentation
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
