As a Sheet Metal Superintendent, you will primarily oversee and coordinate the installation of sheet metal systems for commercial construction projects and manage a team of sheet metal mechanics.

Markets Hiring : Orlando, FL

Salary Range : $30 - $36 per hour

Here's what Skillit needs from you :

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (Preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience as a sheet metal superintendent or similar role in commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal installation and fabrication techniques
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal codes and regulations
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team of other mechanics
  • Must have a valid driver's license

    • Here's what you will be doing :

  • Oversee and coordinate the installation of sheet metal systems in commercial construction projects
  • Manage a team of sheet metal mechanics
  • Ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in the work performed
  • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals
  • Works with pre-construction, project management, and operations to forecast manpower needs and schedule accordingly
  • Coordinate with other trades and contractors to ensure seamless integration of sheet metal systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Keep accurate records of progress and completion of projects.
