Locums - Sylva, North Carolina, Gastroenterology Opening Clinical Role :

  • ASAP - Ongoing
  • Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
  • EMR : McKesson and Athena
  • Patients Per Shift : 10+ per day
  • Beds in Department : 86 bed hospital
  • Admissions Required
  • Assigned / Unassigned Patients
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible - Required
  • Active NC License - Required
  • Fellowship Preferred
  • BLS - Required
  • Call Type : Beeper
  • Call Response Time Required : 30 minutes
  • Call Ratio : 100%
  • Friday procedures would be the "bread and butter" GI procedures (ie. colonoscopies, scopes, etc)., primarily outpatient though they are completed in the hospital OR suite. Anesthesia support is available
  • ERCP will be required for GI locums
  • There is not an APP in service for assistance
