Quality Control Engineer

A company is looking for a Quality Control Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed quality control work for outside plant facility engineering tasks, including estimating and analyzing designs

Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports, including loop loss design and field-mounted switch serving areas

Conduct periodic job inspections and track job budgets against actual costs

Required Qualifications

Ability to identify existing telephone plant and utilities on site plans and in the field

Knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements as required

Capability to engineer routine and specific outside plant work orders

Functional knowledge of outside plant principles and telephone industry standards

Proficiency in PC applications and computer-aided drafting systems
