Director

• Overseeing the care, safety, and well-being of all children at the center
• Hold staff meetings, staff training, and encouraging continuing education
• Child enrollments, parent conferences, and parent education
• All aspects of staffing, schedules, and parent education
• All aspects of staffing, schedules, and supervision of personnel
• Overall maintenance of safe and clean environment
• Compliance with State and Local agencies while maintaining licensing rules and regulations
• Networking with the community
• Director must approve the teachers' lesson plans on a weekly basis
• The Director must be on duty during the center's operating hours a minimum of 40 hours per week
• The Director will supervise all center personnel
• The Director will be in charge of the parent payments

• Bachelor's degree in child Development or its equivalent
• One or more courses in program administration
• Experience as a Lead Teacher
• Preferably, prior experience with staff supervision

• Through understanding of child growth and development
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with infants, toddlers, staff, and parents
• Ability to hire, train, and supervise adults
• Sound knowledge of business practices
