Role of the Director

The Director is responsible for all aspects of managing the program's development, supervision, enrollment, and the facilities. The Director is to ensure the smooth flow of the program and the adherence to our stated philosophy. Other responsibilities of the Director are as follows :

• Overseeing the care, safety, and well-being of all children at the center
• Hold staff meetings, staff training, and encouraging continuing education
• Child enrollments, parent conferences, and parent education
• All aspects of staffing, schedules, and parent education
• All aspects of staffing, schedules, and supervision of personnel
• Overall maintenance of safe and clean environment
• Compliance with State and Local agencies while maintaining licensing rules and regulations
• Networking with the community
• Director must approve the teachers' lesson plans on a weekly basis
• The Director must be on duty during the center's operating hours a minimum of 40 hours per week
• The Director will supervise all center personnel
• The Director will be in charge of the parent payments
