Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to Amarillo, TX, or within a 30-mile radius. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, relevant work experience will also be considered. What You'll Do (and Love Doing!)
- Lead and inspire our accounting team, guiding them in financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
- Recruit, hire, and mentor talented accounting professionals-helping them grow right along with you.
- Build and improve processes with solid internal controls and smart financial strategies.
- Oversee financial reports and ensure accuracy in compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
- Drive tax planning strategies throughout the year (so there are no surprises).
- Partner with outside auditors and lead smooth, successful audit processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on how to fuel growth and strengthen the company's future.
- Deliver impactful financial analysis, especially around investments and big-picture opportunities.
- Keep us compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations (because you're that good).
