Coverage Needed

  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed
  • End Date: Up to 1 year
  • Schedule: 12 hour shifts, AM and PM coverage needed

Clinical Details

  • Number of ER Bays: 10
  • Patients per Hour: 2.0-2.5
  • Low Acuity
  • Nurse/APP Triage for Lower Acuity: In season currently only on Monday
  • Staffing Model: Single coverage
  • Support Staff: Normal ER support staff
  • ED Admission Rate:
  • EMR: Meditech

Requirements

  • Flexibility in Schedule:
    • Provider MUST be willing to work day AND night shifts
    • Provider MUST be willing to work weekdays AND weekends
  • ACLS/PALS Certification
  • Will accept new graduates of ABEM/ABOEM
  • Case Logs: 2 years
  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
    • American Board of Emergency Medicine
    • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
    • Primary Care Physician with EM Experience to be considered with waiver
  • Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered "Local", and will not be eligible for this role
  • Active FL license
