Location : New Orleans, Louisiana | Compensation : $200 – 225K Base Salary + Relocation | Term : On-Site | Job Type : Direct Hire | Relocation Assistance : Available | Benefits : Comprehensive benefits package included + performance-based bonus | Experience : 10+ years in finance with FP&A focus | Industry : Food Manufacturing | Company Size : Mid sized company | Keys to Job : Strong Modeling Background, Expertise in FP&A, Strong Food Manufacturing Experience a big plus, will consider strong Manufacturing in other industries.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in finance, with significant expertise in FP&A, ideally within a manufacturing or production-focused industry.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization tools alongside familiarity with ERP systems and planning software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced setting, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards, precision, and accountability in all financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead FP&A initiatives, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling to align with organizational goals.
  • Deliver actionable financial analytics and recommendations to executive leadership, fostering informed strategic and operational decisions.
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams to optimize efficiency, manage costs, and drive performance improvements.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated models to evaluate business trends, profitability, and growth opportunities, including cost structures from foundational levels.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, adhering to organizational standards.
  • Lead the development of financial systems and reporting tools, including the creation of interactive dashboards using data visualization platforms.
  • Track key performance indicators and benchmarks, identifying risks and opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
  • Work with accounting, investor relations, and other finance functions to ensure cohesive financial strategies and reporting.
  • Contribute to mergers and acquisitions through financial due diligence, valuation, and integration planning.
  • Mentor and guide the FP&A team, cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    The Vice President of Finance serves as a pivotal leader within a dynamic, mid-sized organization with multiple operational sites. This role drives strategic financial planning and analysis (FP&A), leveraging advanced data analytics and modeling to enhance decision-making and organizational performance. The position collaborates closely with supply chain and commercial teams to identify cost efficiencies and supports the company’s growth objectives through robust financial oversight and strategic insights.

    Engagement : On-Site

    Compensation Range : $200 –225K base salary + relocation + 10% performance-based bonus
