Material Handler $21hr

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team in a warehouse setting, which includes both indoor and outdoor environments. This role involves handling heavy products and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality work. Experience with a clamp sit-down forklift, particularly with Hyster sit-down clamp forklifts, is essential. You will be responsible for tasks such as shrink-wrapping pallets and using a propane forklift to move and stage cast iron pipes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down clamp forklift to move and stage cast iron pipes.
• Shrink-wrap pallets and prepare them for distribution.
• Lift and maneuver products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform data entry tasks related to inventory and orders.
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties.

Work Environment

This role is set in an indoor / outdoor warehouse that distributes pipe fittings to various companies. Expect a hot environment in summer and cool conditions in winter. The work schedule is from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays or during the week. The dress code includes long pants (no baggy clothes), a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. Embrace a family-oriented and teamwork-focused atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
