Metalab's hiring team is scaling, and our inbound recruiting pipeline needs some serious love. We're looking for a detail-obsessed, tech-curious Talent Coordinator to join us on a 6-month contract and help bring structure, clarity, and a touch of delight to our applicant tracking system (ATS).

You'll be the first touchpoint for candidates who want to work with us organizing, assessing, and shepherding inbound applications to the right places, while spotting great talent (especially in design and tech). This is an incredible opportunity to understand how we hire world-class product designers and strategists, and to grow into a full-cycle recruiting role over time.

What You'll Do

• Own the front door of Metalab's hiring funnel : triaging inbound applications across roles, ensuring timely responses, and maintaining an organized ATS.
• Collaborate with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand hiring priorities, job requirements, and the nuances of great product design and technology talent.
• Identify strong candidates from inbound flow and ensure they're set up for success through the process.
• Support sourcing efforts for roles across Product Design, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.
• Spot and fix inefficiencies in the ATS workflow. You'll help us streamline, tag, and surface candidates more intelligently.
• Support scheduling, candidate communications, and interview logistics with warmth and precision.
• Contribute to an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring every touchpoint reflects Metalab's creative, human-centered culture.
• Prepare and post open roles, ensuring all external job boards and our careers page are up to date. Track metrics and pull hiring data to support reporting and decision-making. Jump in where needed this is a small, mighty team, and you'll flex between coordination, sourcing, and project support as priorities shift.
