Museum Tour Guide Volunteer/ Front Desk Help

The Downers Grove Museum is seeking passionate, people-friendly volunteers to serve as tour guides and lead visitors through our historic campus! As a guide, you'll brush up on fascinating local history-from the founding of Downers Grove in 1832 to the stories behind our beautifully preserved buildings-and share it in engaging, memorable ways with guests of all ages. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, gain public speaking experience, and help bring the past to life at a museum honored with the 2023 Best Practices Award by the Association of Midwest Museums.
