Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of the financial statements for the Medical Center and Subsidiaries. Direct supervision of the Accountants and AP Clerk. Assist and manage work flow for monthly close process (Journal Entries and Reconciliations) to annual work product (Cost Report/Tax/Audit work papers, inventory process). Coordinate completion of internal controls (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements. Knowledge and understanding of the QMIRS statistics reporting system.

What qualifications you will need:

Other preferred/required experience: Some Management Experience Preferred

Other preferred/required experience: 2 years in public accounting or in finance, prefer healthcare finance

Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting preferred. Other business-related fields are acceptable.

An employee in this classification must possess technical and professional skills in accounting. Extensive knowledge and experience with computer based financial applications combined with a high level of technical expertise in personal computer applications. Ability to interact with senior management as well as directors, supervisors and employees. This individual must possess analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to direct the work of others. Must have good written and oral communication skills.
