Provides leadership and execution of small complexity programs from inception to completion with limited oversight. Ensures contract requirements are understood and met by liaising with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Contracts and Supply Chain.

Job Description

Ensures Project(s) / Program(s) performance to cost, schedule and technical requirements as well as compliance with government regulations and company policy.

Manages the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and budgets for small to mid-scale programs, with responsibility for tracking, managing, and reporting financial performance as the budget owner.

Assists with business development group in developing competitive proposals and bids.

Leads the identification, tracking, and management of program risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation planning and contingency actions in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Provide day to day direction of cross functional development & manufacturing team.

Escalates business execution issues to functional leadership for adjustments to human resources, processes, commodities and tools.

Leads customer-facing meetings and reviews, serving as the primary point of contact for program status, technical coordination, and issue resolution with limited oversight.

Manages and forecasts key program financial metrics such as revenue, cost, and margin.

Typically, a Bachelor Degree in a related field and 3+ years of related experience in program management or experience in multiple functions working with program management. May be required to maintain security clearance
