Travel Pathology Assistant - $2,533 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title : Pathologists Assistant Profession : Laboratory Specialty : Surgical Pathology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : Minimum of 3 years of surgical pathology experience required. License : Must have a permanent state license in hand. Certifications : Must be certified by an accredited PA school. Must-Have : Must be a certified Pathologists Assistant from a NAACLS accredited PA training program. Description : Perform gross description and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens for examination. Handle transport and shipment of specimens. Assist with the preparation of freshly removed surgical specimens for cytologic studies. Assume responsibility for good documentation practices and maintain clear and legible records. Perform high complexity laboratory testing in compliance with laboratory standards as delegated. Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient test results. Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies.
