Billing Specialist - Freight Brokerage Experience Required

Our client, a leader in the logistics and customs brokerage industry, is seeking a Billing Specialist with verified Brokerage Experience. This role supports the Accounting & Compliance Department and works closely with the Brokerage & Customs Entry teams. Only candidates with brokerage AND billing experience will be considered.

Mile 9 Area

Pay Rate:

$19 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends

What's the Job?

• Process and generate accurate billing invoices for import/export and brokerage transactions

• Review and verify documentation for customs entries (including CBP Form 7501 )

• Work closely with brokerage staff to ensure accurate entry data and classifications

• Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and provide timely customer support

• Maintain accurate billing and compliance records according to internal and CBP standards

What's Needed?

?? These requirements are mandatory . Applicants without freight brokerage experience will not be considered.

• 2+ years of experience in a freight brokerage or customs brokerage environment

• 1-2 years of billing experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or brokerage

• Knowledge of CBP documentation , especially Form 7501, 3461

• Proficiency with billing/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills

• High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
