Belay Technologies has been voted Baltimore Business Journal's (BBJ) Best Places to Work 2019, runner up in 2020 and a finalist in 2021!   Belay Technologies is seeking a mid to senior level Software Engineer to join our Intel team supporting the Multi-Factor Authentication Management System (MFAMS), a cybersecurity web application enabling enterprise ICAM services.

In this role, you will develop, enhance, test and maintain complex Java-based software systems, implement new features, resolve defects, and contribute across the full software lifecycle within a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates have strong Java development experience, define and deliver capabilities in an agile team, and provide input on system design, testing, and integration of COTS / GOTS solutions.  Candidates should have the following qualifications :

  • TS / SCI Clearance with polygraph 8+ years of Software Engineering experience Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to computer engineering or computer science disciplines.

An additional 4 years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 12 years 3 years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains Java Development Experience Ability to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results and correct code as needed Experience Performing Development in the eVo environment to include familiarity and use of tools in the environment (GreyBox, Spring, Docker etc.) Use of Gitlab, CI / CD, build pipelines Understanding of Full Stack development Candidates are desired to have the following skills :

  • Familiar with AWS Perform software life-cycle activities to ensure the highest level of system performance and availability and compliance with business requirements Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the application Excellent oral and written communication skills- able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
  • Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML / HTML Strong organization and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines.

  • Several factors influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, education, specific skills and competencies and certifications.

    • Salary Range level dependent :
