Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $2,856 per week in Rochester, NY

License : Active New York Single State RN license required. Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have : EPIC charting experience required. Description : The position is for a Registered Nurse in the emergency room. The shift hours are from 7 PM to 7 AM. This is a 13-week contract. Every other weekend availability is required. Must be willing to work every other holiday if needed. The nurse will be managing a patient ratio of 1 : 5. Required clinical skills include IV therapy, central line care, and managing dysrhythmias. Experience with ventilator management and emergency care for both adults and pediatrics is essential. The nurse will be required to float within their skillset. Special equipment includes Bair hugger and rapid infuser. Isolation precautions and triage experience are necessary. The emergency department handles a wide range of diagnoses including trauma and stroke. This is a state-of-the-art 24 / 7 facility with advanced diagnostic technology. It provides a dedicated pediatric emergency department and a trauma suite for immediate patient care. Candidates must submit any requests for time off upon application. Must have strong clinical judgment and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with procedures such as blood product administration and phlebotomy is required.
