We are hiring a Technical Outside Sales Representative for the Greater Tampa Bay/Southern Gulf Coast, FL territory.

As an Outside Sales Representative with Solares Controls, a division of FCX Performance, you will establish new and expand existing relationships with current customers as part of our outside sales team. With a broad range of products from leading manufacturers at your disposal you'll spend time interacting with your customers in determining their process flow control and instrumentation requirements while providing comprehensive solutions to meet those needs. You'll have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results!

What you'll do:

• Retain existing customers for repeat business while developing new customers for growth.
• Successfully learn and sell company products and services to customers.
• Provide technical and application consultative services.
• Be a competitive, strategic, highly organized, and technically savvy opportunity hunter in your approach to managing your territory.
• Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
• Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategy.

Position Requirements

• Proven outside sales professional background in the industrial marketplace.
• Process flow control industry background preferred.
• Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office, Epicor P21 a plus!

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Sales/Marketing; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
