Hospitalist - Physician - Administration

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a hospitalist to assist in leading our hospital medicine team at Methodist Charlton Medical Center located in Dallas, Texas. As an assistant medical director you will aid the hospitalist medical director in oversight and support of all clinical and non-clinical activities provided by the program plus ensure the team maintains focus on providing the best quality patient care to those we serve.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Clinical shifts as a hospitalist with administrative tasks
• Assist with recruitment efforts and HR tasks
• Routine clinician communication within the program and providing feedback as needed
• Collaborative with specialists and support staff
• Assist with managing the program to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals
• Maintain open rapport with facility leadership
• Orientate and onboard new hires into the program
• Oversee program staffing and scheduling
• Meet regularly with nursing, facility leadership, and directors of ancillary departments that support the hospitalist's work
• Aid in and provide input for routine performance reviews
