Role Summary:
We're seeking skilled and empathetic Personal Care Assistants to join our team and positively impact our clients' lives. At Comprehensive Home Health Solutions, you'll play a vital role in enhancing individuals' independence and well-being in the comfort of their homes.

Requirements and Skills:

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience
• Cleared through NABs in the past 6 months
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team
• Physical capability to assist with lifting, bending, and personal care tasks
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (if required for client transportation)

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care to clients according to their individual care plans
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (including catheter care)
• Assist with mobility and transfers to promote physical well-being
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Understanding of various diet textures and thickened liquid consistencies
• Provide light housekeeping to ensure a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Monitor for fall safety hazards to prevent falls
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings as required.
• Deliver personalized care tailored to clients' individual care plans.
• Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each client
