We have a great opportunity on our team for an Associate Program Evaluation Analyst at our National Center in Dallas, Texas .

The Associate Program Evaluation Analyst is responsible for executing implementation and outcomes evaluation activities performed by the American Heart Associations Data Science and Evaluation team. Collaborates on the development and implementation of program evaluation activities for the American Heart Associations programs and initiatives aimed at the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases and promotion of ideal cardiovascular health.

(This is a fixed-term position with funding through 6 / 30 / 2027 with the possibility to extend)

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements program evaluation activities for the Data Science and Evaluation team for programs across the portfolio of American Heart Association programs and initiatives. Drafts reports and presentations detailing evaluation background, critical evaluation questions, evaluation methods, findings, and recommendations.
• Develops and implements surveys (paper and online), interviews and focus groups, and ensures quality control of data collection.
• Contributes to the development and implementation of data collection plans (using quantitative and qualitative methods) that secure buy-in from all key stakeholders (including the program implementer) and which optimize information-flow through the program life-cycle (planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Drafts reports and presentations detailing evaluation background, critical evaluation questions, evaluation methods, findings, and recommendations.
• Conducts literature reviews, participates in the production of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and presentations; provides input for presentations at scientific conferences and meetings.
• Works as a collaborative member of the Data Science and Evaluation team.
