Recruitment Coordinator For Cato College Of Education

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :
- Serves as the recruiter for the Cato College of Education teacher licensure programs and graduate (master's and doctoral) programs
- Oversees the Office of Recruitment in the Cato College of Education
- Tracks data on recruitment attendance and enrollment in Cato College of Education programs
- Manages the student workers in the Office of Recruitment
- Organizes recruitment events for undergraduate and graduate programs
Minimum Experience / Education : A master's degree and holds or can obtain a North Carolina teaching license. The license should be obtained within 1 year of the start date. A person with a baccalaureate degree, graduate coursework (current enrollment in a master's level program), and at least two years of relevant work experience (higher education teaching or advising experience) may be considered.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience :
Candidates must have classroom teaching experience in a P-12 setting, computer skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, and University information systems, preferably Banner),A record of success in working with minimal supervision, as well as experience in working with unique organizations and people.Must be able to work with a wide range of students as well as with detailed paperwork.The preferred candidate will have background experiences in more than one of the following areas : administrative or professional advising, public school, community college, and / or University employment, and program recruitment.
