The LPN provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician functioning within the scope of licensure. This role supports behavioral health patients by contributing to assessments administering medications monitoring for adverse reactions and performing therapeutic services. The LPN also educates patients and families on treatment plans self-care and available resources post-discharge.
