Radiology Technologist Imaging | ARRT (R) and. ER, OR, ICU, Inpatient services. Night shift 1045p-0715a. Every other weekend.

The Role

As a Radiology Technologist in this full-time contract, night position, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring image quality, and assisting radiologists in providing accurate diagnoses. Your work will directly support clinical teams in delivering high-quality care to patients at a leading academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care : Position and immobilize patients for imaging exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Image Quality : Review radiographs to ensure high-quality images before submission to the radiologist.
• Exam Processing : Accurately order, track, and charge exams using the HIS / RIS system.
• Collaboration : Work closely with radiologists to obtain "wet readings" and assist with film processing and CD creation upon request.
• Maintenance : Maintain clean and functional work areas and equipment.
• Prioritization : Manage urgent exam orders to ensure efficient workflow and timely results.
