CT Technologist

We are currently seeking full-time CT Technologists to join our team at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA. These positions include a 3day/12hour weekend schedule, 10% pay differential AND added $2.25-$5/per hour shift pay differentials on top of competitive compensation and benefits package. Qualifications:

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist License
• ARRT (R) and be board eligible for ARRT (CT)
  (CT training program opportunities are also available)

Summary: To obtain the safest and highest quality CT exams under the direct or indirect supervision of a radiologist per established Inland Imaging guidelines and protocols.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Independently performs CT studies that meet or exceed the standards set by the interpreting radiologist(s)
• Uses professional judgment to reconstruct images as needed to enhance study for interpretation
• Follows established protocols for individual CT examinations
• Prepares equipment and room for exams:
• Interviews and assesses patient for CT exam
• Performs parenteral procedures i.e. contrast injections, IV starts/removal
• Physically assist patients on or off the CT table
• Communicates with patient during exam to ensure the patient does not move and to ensure patient comfort level
• Completes all exam paperwork
• Troubleshoots CT equipment and reports issues to Team Leader and/or Coordinator
• This position may be required to work in a hospital, urgent care or clinical setting.
