Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Richland, WA 99352

Healthcare Setting : Outpatient Multi-Specialty Surgical Center

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 5 / 2026 – End : 4 / 6 / 2026)

Nursing Shift : Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07 : 00 – 17 : 30); mix of 8's and 10's possible

Hours per Week : 40

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1

Float : May float between sister ASC, endoscopy, and orthopedic units

Weekends & On-Call : No weekends, holidays, or on-call required

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2240-$2400

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience (travel nurses welcome)

Active WA or Compact RN license required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS required; CNOR and PALS preferred

Epic charting system experience required

Charge nurse and community hospital experience preferred

Ability to float within facility as needed

References : 2 supervisory references covering 1 year in a comparable specialty / setting within the last 3 years

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients

Assist in general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, and pediatric procedures

Follow strict infection control, fire safety, and laser safety protocols

Document patient care using Epic charting system

Float to ASC, endoscopy, and orthopedic units as needed

Participate in orientation and annual training modules

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Demonstrate proficiency in specimen handling, universal protocol / time out, and wound management
