Location : Asheboro, NC

Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Temporary coverage through 2025

💼 Position Overview :

We are seeking a Board Certified Mammography Specialist with strong skills in General Diagnostic Radiology and Light Interventional Radiology (IR) / Fluoroscopy Supervision to provide onsite coverage.

This role blends advanced breast imaging with general diagnostic and light interventional procedures, ideal for radiologists looking for a varied and dynamic practice.

🔬 Key Responsibilities :

Breast Imaging :

Perform and interpret 3D and digital mammography

Conduct breast ultrasounds

Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies

Fluoroscopy Supervision & Procedures :

Supervise and assist in real-time imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic fluoroscopy procedures (3-4 / day)

General Radiology :

Perform and interpret routine imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs

Light Interventional Radiology :

Perform non-complex image-guided procedures (5-6 / day), including :

Biopsies

Drainages

Kyphoplasty

PICC line placements

Paracentesis and thoracentesis

🛠️ Technology & Systems :

EMR : Meditech

PACS : Intelerad

Voice Recognition : Fluency

✅ Requirements :

Board Certified Radiologist

BLS / ACLS Certification

DEA Certification – Verbal confirmation required at name clear

CDS Certification

North Carolina Medical License

Clean professional and credentialing files
