An Anesthesiology Physician is needed for locum coverage in Illinois, requiring BC / BE Anesthesiology certification and an Illinois license. The position offers flexible shift options, a call-only arrangement, and involves supervising cases in various specialties including pediatric, orthopedic, and cardiac anesthesia. Competitive hourly rates, malpractice insurance coverage, and travel accommodations are provided by SMART for this ongoing opportunity during permanent recruitment.

SMART is working with a client in Illinois- West of Chicago, seeking an Anesthesiologist for locum coverage. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and will be an ongoing need during permanent recruitment. Cardiac is A PLUS not required

Qualifications :

  • BC / BE Anesthesiology
  • IL License required

Job Summary :

  • Shift times : 7am- 5 : 30 pm / 7a-7p Flexible shift times - CALL ONLY OPTION IS AVAILABLE For weekend call
  • Call Required 1 : 5
  • Block coverage preferred Minimum 1 week per month
  • Coverage Model : Supervision and some doping own cases (On site 4 MD S and 10 CRNAs during the day)
  • 4 ORs one location / 5 at additional location
  • Cases include PEDs, General, Ortho, URO, Opthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry epidurals, spinals and blocks a MUST
  • CARDIAC IS A PLUS Must be TEE CERTIFIED FOR Cardiac
  • EMR- EPIC
