[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or situations that may impact people, property, or operations at the location. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site representatives regarding incidents or security-related concerns. Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry. Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports as required by site protocols and Allied Universal policies. Experience with computers or tablets is preferred. Experience in loss prevention is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
