Emilia, Chef Greg Vernick's newest restaurant dedicated to the regional cuisines of Italy, opening in January 2026 is seeking to expand our Host Team. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment, be eager to learn, and possess a desire to provide genuine hospitality to our guests. Candidates must be reliable, outgoing, organized, and should thrive in a team environment. Must be able to multi-task under pressure and communicate well.

In 2016, Chef / Owner Gregory Vernick was named “Chef of the Year” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Vernick Food & Drink earned a 4-Bell re-review from restaurant critic Craig Laban who called it the “Best Overall Restaurant” in the city. Chef Vernick received the 2017 James Beard Award for Best Chef : Mid-Atlantic, elevating the restaurant onto the National level. Vernick's other restaurants are the Michelin recognized Vernick Fish in the Four Seasons Hotel and Vernick Coffee Bar in the Comcast Technology Center.
