Office Assistant I
Location : Houston, TX
Pay Rate : $18 per hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM
Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking an Office Assistant I to support the Accounts Payable Department within a respected healthcare organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate, and confidential processing of vendor payments.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the Accounts Payable PO Team
- Accurately and confidentially process accounts payable transactions
- Review, research, and process invoices in accordance with policies and procedures
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
- Contact vendors or department leaders to verify receipt of merchandise
- Research credits, past-due invoices, and vendor statements
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status
- Prepare reports for the Accounts Payable Coordinator on unpaid invoices
- Perform basic audits on vendor records
- Monitor AP / PO mailboxes
- Assist PO Leads with manual invoice processing as needed
Qualifications
