• Position Overview :

We are seeking a passionate and committed Grade 6 Teacher who is dedicated to providing high-quality education and nurturing the academic and social growth of our sixth-grade students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum standards and innovative teaching practices suited to the needs of young learners.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Plan and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school staff, and parents to support students' educational and social development.
• Utilize classroom technology effectively to enhance the learning experience.
• Stay current with educational practices and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Connecticut teaching certification.
• Proven teaching experience, preferably in Grade 6.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement lesson plans effectively.
• Passionate about working with young learners and contributing to their growth.
