Industrial Machine Technician – 2nd Shift

Santa Ana, CA | $25.00 – $35.00 / hour | Full-Time | Employee-Owned Company

We serve a wide range of Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries—and we’re looking for a skilled Industrial Machine Technician to join our 2nd shift team in Santa Ana, CA .

What You’ll Do

As an Industrial Machine Technician, you’ll help keep our production floor running smoothly by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial sized mailing and digital printing machines. This is a hands-on role where your mechanical and electrical know-how and attention to detail will directly support the success of our high-volume operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust mechanical and electronic failures using schematics, manuals, and procedures.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including lock-out / tag-out and anti-static procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, time spent, and parts used.
  • Collaborate with production and inventory teams to prioritize repairs and maintain equipment readiness.
  • Diagnose issues and perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical and electronic components, including circuits and wiring, motors (servo, AC / DC brush and brushless), drive and feed belts, chains, gears and bearings, pulleys, brakes, clutches, vacuum pumps and compressors, photosensors, pneumatic hoses, fittings, and solenoids.

Schedule

  • Standard Hours : Monday–Friday, 1 : 30 PM – 10 : 00 PM (2nd Shift)
  • Training Period : Schedule may vary for the first 3–6 months while training.
  • Overtime : May be required during peak production periods, including earlier start times, later end times, and / or weekend work for preventative maintenance.

    • Requirements

    What You’ll Bring

  • 2 + years of experience as a machine technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills.
  • A working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Must communicate well with others and be able to read technical manuals and diagrams
  • Experience in a print and mail production environment is a major plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training or certification is a bonus.

    • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Regularly required to use hands and fingers to grasp and handle; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Must occasionally lift and / or move up to 40 pounds independently. Specific vision skills required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
