About The Position

Job Title : CT Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : CT Tech

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience; lesser experience may be considered if candidate holds Level I or Level II experience.

License : State License required, pending license accepted.

Certifications : ARRT certified CT, ARRT R, BLS.

Must-Have :

• Experience with GE and / or Toshiba equipment.
• Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.

Description :

Performs and completes diagnostic procedures following guidelines.

Prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures.

Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics.

Provides radiation safety for both the operator and the patient.

Places patients in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy.

Typical volume of procedures is 270-290 scans per day.

Experience with 3D rendering techniques and various diagnostic studies is required.

Knowledge and skills in radiation safety and patient care are necessary.

Must have the ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
